"We are passionate about everything vintage - the lifestyle, the exploration, the history of each piece! We believe in sustainability, and a zero waste economy. That's why we love discovering Ontario and treasure-hunting for the best in pre-loved fashion."
Meet Harmony, the Auction Hunter!
Avid hobbyist, vintage fashion enthusiast and student of jewelry history
Hi there! My name is Harmony. Join me as I explore the world of vintage jewelry and fashion through the decades. For me, the greatest cultural zeitgest is fashion, more specifically, jewelry and clothing. I think that through the jewels and costumes we adorn, we encapsulate history and freeze moments in time that otherwise can be so easily remissed.
When I am not writing or taking care of my newborn, I am travelling Ontario, Canada to different estate sales and auction sites, hunting for unique vintage pieces and hoping I can score some truly beautiful jewels amongst the junk.

Because of the nature of vintage items, unless there is significant damage or flaws not accurately portrayed in the photos or described, I cannot accept returns. Signs of wear and use should be expected with every vintage item.
I try my best to capture as authentically as possible what these items look like, and point out the signs of flaw and wear in the description and the photos. Please read the description and look at the photos carefully if you are anxious about your purchase.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
We believe in transparency, authenticity and community. This is what allows us to sell with confidence and keep our passion project alive and genuine.
I am still studying the art of dating and pricing collectible costume and vintage jewelry. I do a lot of my research online and with the vintage community. You have my guarantee that the price I offer reflects the best and lowest price you can get considering the following factors:
-the condition of the piece
-availability of the piece online (such as availability on Etsy, eBay, Poshmark, Rubylane)
-history and collection value of the piece, using organizations like Collectors Weekly, Gemmology, 7000 Years of Jewelry, The Best of Costume Jewelry and various collector forums for vintage jewelry to garner some advice and help with my research
-the market value of stones is determined using sites like Worthpoint, Rubylane and GoAntiques as well as a combination of microscopic detail and equipment such as the Presidium Gem Indicator (https://www.presidium.com.sg/product/colored-gemstone-testers/gem-indicator) If necessary, an appraisal from a jeweller/gemologist will be included in the description and photos of items. Please note that if the piece came with an appraisal already, that it will not be re-appraised.
-the market value of the material is determined through acid tests. Through acid tests, karat of gold can be estimated from 10k to 24k. Acid tests can also determine if the material is made from silver or platinum. Please note that acid testing can only test the plating of the piece, as determining if a piece is completely gold or silver will require actual demolition of the piece. As such, I price my items as plated only.
I strive to be as authentic as possible. The product description will indicate whether the piece has been authenticated or not. All pieces listed in my shop are vintage as they have been bought from estate sales and auction sites.
I will always be transparent in my presentation of these items with you as this is my hobby and passion, and just seriously want to share this with the world.
I hope that you appreciate my hard work and authenticity regarding this passion project of mine and that you enjoy this adventure with me. Thank you so much for your support.
