These pearls were auctioned at an estate sale. Condition is vintage but no signs of wear. The owner kept it in its original box, and the pearls have incredible shine, lustre and weight on them. It is truly beautiful and one of my favourite finds. They come in the original box, with two red velvet bags to keep the pearls from getting scratched, along with the certificate of authenticity from Madreperla. Made in Spain.
Earrings are 1 cm/10 mm and have jewelry markings on the closure. It says 3M and has the Madreperla mark beside it. The 3m represents the 3 microns or 120 ml of 18k gold in the clasp. You can also read that in the certificate of authenticity.
Each pearl on the necklace is also 1 cm/10mm and has a snap closure with a Swarovski crystal bead, pave style. The pearls are different shades of lavender. It is 16" in length, choker style.
Beautiful and untouched, this set is a must for every pearl fan. This is one of my absolute favourites and breaks my heart to part with it!

"Majorica pearls are man-made pearls also known as faux pearls and Majorica Perals are renowned for their quality.
Each pearl is made up of multiple layers of organic nacre and more closely resemble Natural Sea Pearls than any other man-made pearls. Majorica pearls are recognized as the finest man-made pearls and are sought after because the multiple, thick layering of nacre is heavy, making these pearls very durable and long lasting." -Yvonne
